The Tarta EMYS is a unique back support designed to replicate the spine of the human back. It acts as an exoskeleton to support your spine. The EMYS has been designed to allow for flexibility, adjustability and customisation. The cushions of the EMYS are made from high density foam to give a softer feel.

Available in a variety of sizes including 3, 4, or 5 vertebrae; standard, contoured and deep contoured back; as well as different widths between 25.8 cm and 38 cm.

  The EMYS is designed to fully support the spine, and can be adjusted to give a snug fit. Ribs and pads are available in contoured or standard fit.

  Each individual vertebrae and pad can be adjusted that can  provide the right level of support in the necessary targeted areas.

  The EMYS is strong enough to support the user’s back whilst also allowing for natural body movement.
• Flexible design
  The EMYS allows for 12.5 degrees adjustment both forwards and backwards, and also allows for depth adjustment. The EMYS can also be twisted, adjusted and set as such to enable natural spine movement.
• Comfortable and breathable
  Every rib and vertebra is padded making the back not only a comfy support but also promoting airflow, allowing a circulation of air through every rib.
• Easy to clean
  The pads detach to be machine washed at 30 degrees Celsius, and the exoskeleton is easily wipeable.
