Back Support

Key Features:
• Slotted holes to allow for installation of most aftermarket head supports, headrests, belts, and
harnesses.
• Alternate mounting heights to allow installation of hardware at optional heights for correct set-up.
• Width adjustment, mounting hardware has 2” (5.1cm) of width adjustability increasing the size of a
chair that each back can be used on [i.e. a 16” (40.6cm) wide back will fi t a 16, 17, or 18” (40.6, 43.2, or
45.7cm) wide chair].
• Pelvic cut-out for optimal pelvic positioning and support of the P.S.I.S.
• One-hand quick release to allow easy removal of the back from chair.

Cushions

nxt™ cushions have been designed to ensure that pre-ischial support prevents sliding and provides pelvic support.  The moderate abductor/adductor contour ensures mid-line positioning of the femurs.  The radius at the rear provides sacral support in addition to matching the contour of modular back supports.  The bevel on the front edge accommodates foot propellers and users who wish to sit with a tight front frame angle or those with tight hamstrings. nxt™ Wheelchair Cushions come standard with an outer and inner cover.  They feature smartx3D technology with 3 layers of material which creates a breathable ‘micro-climate’ between layers. The antimicrobial polyester 4-way stretch cover provides enhanced immersion, aiding pressure distribution.  Soft, breathable and with moisture wicking properties, smartx3D offers ultimate comfort and temperature control.  Other features include: • Pill resistant. • Antimicrobial capabilities will not wash out. • Reduces shear. • 20 times more air permeable than standard fabrics.
